This position monitors and coordinates the movement of customer shipments through the ProTrans transportation network. The Transportation Administrator ensures system integrity and escalates shipment issues to the appropriate personnel.

Qualified applicants must possess good communication and problem-solving skills. As the Transportation Administrator will be making and receiving many phone calls, verbal communication and listening skills are especially important. The ability to communicate through e-mail, good typing, spelling, and writing skills are also necessary. Basic to intermediate computer knowledge and good interpersonal skills also are important qualities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
HS Diploma/GED required.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
